(1) One of the two divisions of the Sautrantika school of tenets, those that assert the two types of true phenomena as objective entities and metaphysical entities. (2) One of two divisions of the Chittamatra school of tenets, those who follow the Indian textual tradition of Dharmakirti and assert only one ultimate vehicle of mind (Skt. ekayāna), with only the attainment of the goal of Buddhahood lasting forever.
