Line of reasoning "refuting the arising of something already existent or nonexistent"

A line of reasoning used to analyze results which, of the three gateways to liberation, opens the way to gaining absorbed concentration on the lack of a hope for truly established results. One of the five great Madhyamaka lines of reasoning.
