Motivating aim

The mental factor of aiming to obtain an object, to achieve a goal, or to do something with the object or goal once obtained or achieved, that precedes engaging in either the mental action of thinking about doing this or how to do this, or the physical or verbal action to bring about the attainment of the intended goal. As part of the motivating drive, it is always accompanied by a motivating emotion and motivating karmic impulse.
