(1) According to the Hinayana tenets systems, these comprise the 88 doctrinally based disturbing emotions and attitudes and their tendencies. (2) According to the Mahayana tenet systems, these include the 112 doctrinally based disturbing emotions and attitudes and their tendencies. (a) Chittamatra, Svatantrika and non-Gelug Prasangika also include the doctrinally based cognitive obscurations and their tendencies. (b) Gelug Prasangika does not include any cognitive obscurations.
