A general term for both (1) positive karmic force, built up from constructive actions done without bodhichitta and dedication to enlightenment, and which ripens into fleeting samsaric happiness, and (2) enlightenment-building positive force, built up from constructive actions done with unlabored bodhichitta and dedication to enlightenment.
