Three types of lack of essential nature

In the Chittamatra tenet system, (1) dependent phenomena’s lack of essential nature as something that does not arise, (2) totally conceptional phenomena’s lack of an essential nature of existing with defining characteristic marks, and (3) thoroughly established phenomena’s lack of an essential nature of existing as ultimate.
