Causal motivating karmic impulse

The mental factor that initially draws the mind into engaging in the mental action of thinking about committing a physical or verbal action. As part of the causal motivating drive, the causal motivating karmic impulse is equivalent to an inciting karmic impulse (sems-pa'i las).
