Secondary bodhisattva vows

A set of forty-six actions that one vows to avoid and which, if committed, would be detrimental to one's practice of either one of the six perfections (far-reaching attitudes, Skt. pāramitā) or to one's benefiting others. The development of engaged bodhichitta entails taking them together with the eighteen bodhisattva vows.
