Balanced Sensitivity for the Age of Social Media

With balanced sensitivity, we avoid the extremes of being over- or under-sensitive to others and ourselves, especially toward our own and others’ feelings and how the way we behave affects them. Through a series of 22 exercises, we can train ourselves to gain this balance. The foundation on which the entire training rests is developing a quiet, non-judgmental mind and a caring heart. These are especially essential in the present Age of Social Media, where so much of our interaction occurs through digital means that often we lose sight of others’ feelings.
