Quarter-monthly assembly

A ritual for monks and nuns in which they confess to any violations of their vows and recite vinaya texts for purification and restoration of their vows. Originally held four times per month – and still observed that way in Theravada countries – it is held bimonthly in the Tibetan traditions.
