Redirected from Tree of assembled gurus

An assembly of Buddhist lineage figures, spiritual teachers, Buddhas, bodhisattvas, shravaka and pratyekabuddha arhats, yidams, dakas, dakinis and Dharma protectors, often visualized on the top of a tree, which serves as an object for making prostrations, offerings and requests for inspiration, and which functions as a field in which one thereby plants the seeds of positive force (merit) that will give an abundant (bountiful) crop of the enlightening qualities of Buddhahood.
