Distant lineage of the enlightening words of the Buddha

One of the three lines of transmission within the Nyingma tradition. The teachings brought to Tibet from India by Indian and Tibetan masters and transmitted directly through an unbroken line of disciples. They encompass texts on all nine vehicles.
