Four factors for attaining correct riddances

Practices for ridding oneself of shortcomings: preventing the arising of negative qualities one hasn't developed, ridding oneself of negative qualities one already has, cultivating new positive qualities, and maintaining and enhancing the positive qualities one already possesses, fully developed with a building-up pathway of mind (path of accumulation). One of the sections of the thirty-seven factors leading to a purified state.
