A nature that, by its power, establishes a validly knowable phenomenon as what it conventionally is. Equivalent to the superficial essential nature (kun-rdzob-pa'i ngo-bo) of conventional objects, which appears to be established by a self-establishing nature (rang-bzhin) on the side of the object.
