(1) One of the four supports to enhance the development of perseverance: taking pleasure in working toward a positive spiritual goal. (2) One of the four immeasurable attitudes: either rejoicing in the happiness and good qualities of others or the wish that others never be parted from the joy of liberation. (3) The first of the four joys experienced with the melting of white bodhichitta drops in the central energy-channel and applied to the cognition of voidness.
