Parting from the four types of clinging

A Sakya teaching received by Sachen Kunga Nyingpo (Sa-chen Kun-dga' snying-po) (1092–1158) in a pure vision of Manjushri and elaborated upon by his third son, Dragpa Gyaltsen (Grags-pa rgyal-mtshan) (1147–1216): (1) parting from clinging to this lifetime, (2) parting from clinging to samsara, (3) parting from clinging to one's own purposes, and (4) parting form clinging to grasping for impossible ways of existing.
