Seven limb prayer

A basic meditation practice, often based on a prayer by Shantideva, entailing: (1) prostration, (2) making offerings, (3) openly admitting one's mistakes and shortcomings, (4) rejoicing, (5) requesting the teachings, (6) beseeching the teachers not to pass away, and (7) dedication.
