Unified pair

(1) A pair of items, joined inseparably, in which the initial attainment of both items occurs simultaneously. Sometimes used as a general term whether the initial attainment of both items occurs simultaneously or sequentially. (2) The fifth of the five-part Guhyasamaja complete stage – the unified pair of a purified illusory body and the abandonment of the emotional obscurations, then the unified pair of a purified illusory body and actual clear light, still needing further training.
