Berzin Archives Year End Report 2018

We have continued to make great progress in 2018. We have now completed migrating all 21 languages sections to our Study Buddhism website and expanded their content with 862 new translations. The website now contains a total of 7977 articles and 538 audio files. There are 538 audio files still left to be migrated in the coming months.

Our website was visited by more than 750,000 unique users over the year, with on average 5000 core users visiting more than 3 times a month. People reading our website on mobile phones has grown 6% since last year.

During the year, we have edited and added 103 new videos and completed 1889 subtitle translations for our Study Buddhism YouTube channel and embedded many of them into our articles. Our You Tube channel now contains 191 video files and has 4700 subscribers, an increase of 188% from last year. Further, we have filmed video interviews with 8 additional Tibetan and Western Buddhist teachers.

Our Facebook page has continued to grow, with about 1,000 new people following us every month. Our page and posts have been viewed more than 3.3 million times, and people have spent the equivalent of 390 days watching our videos.

This work of bringing authentic, Buddhist teachings - the ageless wisdom of Tibet - to the world free of charge and free of adverts, could not happen without you.
