Conceptually implied object

Redirected from Conceptualized object

In conceptual cognition, a form of physical phenomenon that can only be cognized by mental consciousness and which represents the items that would fit in the category that is the appearing object (snang-yul) of that cognition. Literally, an object that "clings" to a basis clung to (zhen-gzhi, a basis conceptualized about). In conceptual cognition, the conceptually implied object is equivalent to the object existing as cognitively taken ('dzin-stangs-kyi yul). Non-conceptual cognitions do not have conceptually implied objects.
