Conceptually implied object

Redirected from Implied object

In conceptual cognition, a conventional object that corresponds to the items that would fit in a category that is the appearing object (snang-yul) of that cognition. Literally, the object to which a concept "clings." In conceptual cognition, such an object is equivalent to the object existing as cognitively taken ('dzin-stangs-kyi yul). Non-conceptual cognitions do not have conceptually implied objects.
