Offerings made of various aspects of one's Dharma practice, visualized in the form of the outer offerings: offerings of (1) one's reading and study in the form of water, (2) one's knowledge in the form of flowers, (3) one's ethical self-discipline in the form of incense, (4) ones insights in the form of lit butter lamps or candles, (5) one's firm conviction in the form of fragrant perfumed water, (6) one's absorbed concentration in the form of food, and (7) one's teaching clear explanations to others in the form of music.
