  1. obscuration

    A fleeting stain that temporarily "covers" or accompanies mental activity, preventing it from cognizing objects without suffering or other limitations.


  2. obtainer

    A set of four disturbing emotions and disturbing attitudes which, when occurring at the time of death, activate throwing karma for a next rebirth.


  3. omniscience

    A Buddha's unceasing nonconceptual cognition simultaneously of all validly knowable phenomena and their voidnesses (emptinesses).


  4. once-returner

    A shravaka or pratyekabuddha arya that will return with another samsaric rebirth only one more time before gaining liberation as an arhat.
