Habit

A general term for a noncongruent affecting variable used for both (1) constant habits, whether karmic constant habits or the constant habits of grasping for truly established existence, that give rise to their results continually, forever, until one achieves a true stopping of them and (2) legacies, equivalent to tendencies (sa-bon, seeds), whether karmic legacies, memories or the legacies of either disturbing emotions or constructive emotions, that give rise to their results intermittently – in the case of karmic legacies, until one achieves a true stopping of them or, in the case of karmic legacies, until they naturally end.
