Accustoming pathway mind

Redirected from Path of meditation

The level of mind of arya shravakas, arya pratyekabuddhas and arya bodhisattvas, with which they accustom themselves to the joined pair of shamatha and vipashyana focused non-conceptually on voidness (emptiness) – or, in general, on the sixteen aspects of the four noble truths – and thereby rid themselves of either one or both sets of automatically arising obscurations. The fourth of the five pathway minds (five paths) leading to a purified state of arhatship or enlightenment.
