According to the Jetsunpa textbook tradition, in the Sautrantika system, existence established as an objective entity (individually characterized phenomenon) and not equivalent to existence established by individual characteristic marks, which pertains also to metaphysical entities. According to the Panchen textbook tradition, they are equivalent terms.
