Existence is established from the side of a phenomenon's own unshared way of abiding (mthun-mong ma-yin-pa'i sdod-lugs) as a cognitive object that is not merely imputable by a conceptual cognition. There are two possibilities: (1) existence established merely from the side of a phenomenon by the power of its individual defining characteristic mark alone and (2) existence established from the side of a phenomenon by the power of its individual defining characteristic mark in conjunction with mental labeling with a category by conceptual cognition.
